Reverse Circulation Drill Rigs

Reverse Circulation Drilling (RCD), also know as airlifting, is a form of hydraulic circulation drilling that uses compressed air to flush material cuttings out of the drill hole in a safe and efficient manner.

It is a non-invasive drilling process that preserves sensitive ecology both above the ground and below the surface. This methodology enables the advancement of large-diameter borings in formations ranging from unconsolidated geology to medium hard and fractured rock.

An RCD is the best solution for dealing with:

  • Large Diameters Holes (more than 800mm)

  • Deep Depth (more than 20m)

  • Hard Rock Drilling (~350 MPa)

  • Bore Piling in Marine Conditions

An RCD has three types of roller cutters in the drill bit for different soil conditions giving you options.
