Casing Oscillators
Oscillators are a proven method for drilling large diameter shafts in challenging conditions. Unlike traditional methods, oscillators use rotational force to bore into the earth.
Oscillators offer unique benefits:
Designed for challenging ground conditions such as caving soil and loose sands, as well as, cobbles and boulders
Allows for drilling in close proximity to existing structures
Precision drilling with state-of-the art control systems
Ground stability due to simultaneous drilling and casing installation
Having a fully cased shaft controls loose soil conditions by preventing the shaft from caving in and soil from sinking around the excavation area
Cuts through obstructions and dense strata more efficiently
Environment Benefits
Does not rely on hammering or vibration to install casing, allowing for drilling in sensitive or noise restricted areas
Since water alone can be used for drilling, environmental concerns can be minimized or totally eliminated
Excavated soil can easily be placed in a truck for disposal making for a cleaner job site.
We offer three types of oscillators: General, Heavy Duty and Drill Mount. With the choice of model, diameter and adaptor, we can help you identify the machine that best fits your drilling needs.
Drill Spread
When utilizing a casing oscillator, the following equipment is typically required in addition to complete the job:
Hydraulic Power Pack
Grabs
Reduction Insert
Casings
Tremmie Pipe
Crane
